Compared to the likes of Brockhampton and Odd Future, the nine members of Florida collective seeyousoon (Ignacio, Kenny, Denny, Maddie, Josh, Dre, Drex, Luke and Mitch) formed in 2018 based on a shared love artists as diverse as Jadakiss and Mars Volta. Storming single ‘Blue Chord’, released back in May, made some serious waves and now this formidable group is back with the truly unforgettable ‘Shut Up’. This is razor sharp hip-hop built on rebellious punky roots reminiscent of THEY., although with a much more subversive production. This creates a place for you to shout “shut the fuck up” into the universe, joined by your nine new best friends.
